A MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR

“When I founded SGE-Services Ltd in 2009, my goal was simple, to build a company that clients could genuinely rely on. Having worked within the industry as an electrician myself, I saw too many projects where low initial quotations were used to secure work, only for costs to increase later through variations, shortcuts or poor planning. I knew from the beginning that I wanted SGE to be different.

I built this company on honesty, professionalism and taking genuine pride in our work. We believe in being upfront with our clients from the outset, providing realistic, transparent quotations and delivering the standard of work we promise. We would rather be honest at the tender stage than win projects with unrealistic pricing that we cannot properly deliver.

We may not always be the cheapest contractor, and we may not always be the fastest, but we firmly believe in delivering quality electrical installations that are built to last for years to come. For us, long-term reliability, safety and workmanship will always come before cutting corners.

Over the years, SGE has grown to support developers, contractors, managing agents and commercial clients across a wide range of new build, commercial and maintenance projects. As demand for our servicing and aftercare support continued to grow, we launched our dedicated Maintenance Division in 2022, with its office support team and site engineers focused solely on maintenance, compliance servicing and reactive works. This allows us to provide clients with dependable long-term support alongside our installation projects.

Although the company has expanded significantly since 2009, we still consider ourselves a family-run business. I strongly believe a company is only as exceptional as its people, which is why we continue to invest heavily in our team, training and development. We are proud to have employees who started with us as apprentices and progressed into senior positions within the business — something that reflects the culture we have worked hard to create.
