KEY SKILLS: TECHNICAL

• Ideally, have related maintenance experience (preferred but not essential)

• Good understanding of BS 7671 (18th Edition and amendments), including current technical standards

• Experience with fault finding on electrical systems (preferred but not essential)

• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

• Accurate paperwork and documentation skills

• Ability to adapt to different environments and site conditions

• Good customer service skills, particularly when dealing with residents

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and willingness to learn and develop through in-house and external training

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Familiarity with mobile device technology

• Understanding of general electrical maintenance practices

• First Aid and asbestos awareness training (preferred)

• Accurately record technical information relevant to each project

• Resolve technical and non-technical issues efficiently during project delivery
